Here are my 3 top tips to achieve a consistent, JAW DROPPING lash lift every time 🧚♀️
1. TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE CLIENTS NATURAL LASHES.
No I’m not just talking about if they’re ‘average, weak or healthy’ but if they’re down turned, straight or have a curl to them. If they’re down turn or straight, we will need to allow the products to process for a little longer.
2. TAPE THE LASHES DOWN.
Yes you read that right. If you struggle to place the rod close enough to the lashline without getting lashes under the rod. De-tack some tape and apply it over the lashes. Apply the rod, then remove the tape and secure the lashes to the shield
3. COMPLETE BOTH TESTS.
Before removing solution 1 there are 2 tests to complete to see if the lashes are ready for solution 2 or if we need to keep processing.
Gently remove a lash completely off the rod. Now gently place it back down to the eye pad.
👉🏼 Did it bounce back up or did it hang down there?
If it stayed down. You may need to process step 1 for longer.
But what if you’re unsure of the result?
👉🏼With the same lash, Bend it. Is it a curved ‘U’ shape, or a sharp ‘V’ shape?
Sharp V means it’s ready for the next step.
